Background

Bayt Hospitality is a holding company with interests in food and beverage as well as hotel concepts. The company’s goal is to create and deliver unique restaurant and accommodation concepts that focus on delivering world class quality and service.

Challenge

Bayt needed a premium corporate look and feel for its brand which would allow it to showcase itself as a serious contender from the get go. The identity needed to be brought to life on various items of stationary with immediate effect and on its website and other marketing materials at later points in time.

Action

We created a unique brandmark inspired by the idea of superimposing the letters B and H in avant-garde colors, to create a seamless symbol worthy of admiration. We also incorporated a small design element which symbolizes a roof to capture the meaning of the word Bayt which means home in Arabic. Next, we designed the company’s stationary, including business cards, letterheads and envelopes, as well as a set of brief brand guidelines which we summarized in a brand book.

Result

The identity was very well received by the management team and its clients alike, achieving the goal of showcasing Bayt as a premium player in the marketplace through the use of rich design that imparts an internationally inspired look and feel for the brand.
