Travel infrastructure in India has witnessed a transformative change over the last many years. Travel Food Services (TFS) is a leading player in the travel food and beverage segment and has been an integral part of India’s evolving travel infrastructure story. TFS specializes in establishing and licensing food and beverage outlets across travel hubs, with a special focus on airports and highways.
TFS needed a cohesive brand strategy to position itself alongside international heavyweights that had long dominated the category. The business also needed a range of branded collateral and complete design and development of its corporate website to enhance visibility across offline and online channels.
We started our engagement with an in-depth category study to understand the unique positions held by established players across the world. Based on our findings we crafted the robust brand positioning idea “Transforming Travel” to serve as the brand essence for TFS. Following this, we evolved the brandmark, and developed brand assets including business stationery, corporate brochures, a media kit, and the brand’s website. Via these efforts, we helped showcase the TFS brand as the leading authority in the sphere of travel food and beverage.
Today TFS is the largest Indian owned and operated business in its segment with operations in more than 9 major travel hubs including airports in New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kolkata, and Goa, among others. On last count, it has served a total of 135 million passengers.
